Good design but leak

I bought this bottle one month ago, and I realized that the backpack of muy daughter was wet some days. Some water leak out of the bottle. I came back to the shop and they told me that this leak is normal.

Thank you for taking the time to review your straw bottle.

I'm sorry to hear that the shop told you that leaking is normal.

It's not.

Our water bottles have a small sealing ring on the inside of the lid.
If this ring is not placed correctly or is lost after washing, the bottle may leak a little.

It can also become leaky if the lid is tightened too much causing the small sealing ring to be twisted at an angle.
